In order to pursue the long-term friendly relations in education, Hangzhou Jialvyuan Primary School (Hangzhou, Zhejiang, P. R. China), and Bramblewood Elementary School (Coquitlam, BC, Canada), hereby acknowledges that they wish to establish a friendship agreement.
中国浙江省杭州市嘉绿苑小学与加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚省高贵林市布兰博伍德小学经过友好协商，双方同意并愿意签署友好学校协议，以寻求双方长期的教育合作关系。
Goals:
目的：
1. Develop students’ and teachers' global vision and promote friendly relations between China and Canada.
培养双方师生的国际观，促进中加两国民间的友好交往。
2. Enhance mutual understanding in educational philosophy and management methods, and discuss new directions for educational and pedagogical development.
增进两校间的教育教学理念、管理方式的了解，探讨教育教学发展的新方向。
3. Organize reciprocal visits of teachers and students, and provide opportunities for educational and pedagogical development and cooperation.
开展教师、学生间的相互访问，并为教育教学诸方面的发展和合作提供机会。
Cultural and Educational program:
文化和教育项目
1. With the aim of promoting educational and pedagogical exchanges, the two schools may arrange programs for students and/or teachers on each visit. The students and teachers shall bear the international travel expenses, accommodation and related expenses will be negotiated by both parties.
为开展教育教学方面的交流，两校间可以开展学生或教师互访活动。师生需各自承担自己的国际交通，食宿安排，费用由双方协商确定。
2. Teachers can visit together with the students.
教师间的互访随学生同时进行。
3. Teacher development programs will be launched at a mutually suitable time period. The host school shall provide the necessary work environment. Accommodation and living expenses are to be met by the individual, as well international travel expenses. The visiting staff will receive assistance to locate suitable accommodation at a reasonable cost.
待双方条件成熟后，可以开展教师发展方面的活动。接待方需要提供必要的工作环境。食宿费用、生活费用和国际交通费用由派出方个人自理。接待方将协助出访教职员工，安排适宜、价格合理的食宿。
4. The deputing side shall buy relevant insurance for its teachers and students covering the period of their visits to the other side, when participating in the said programs.
开展上述互访活动时，派出方应给出访的教师及学生购买出访期间的保险。
Activities included in the programs:
项目内容包括：
1. Conduct exchanges of educational and pedagogical experience.
开展教育教学方面的交流。
2. Encourage teachers from both sides to exchange and share teaching plans and course materials in both languages of Chinese and English, as well as other academic resources.
鼓励教师相互提供中文和英文的教案和教学资料，交流学术成果与论文。
3. Encourage students from both sides to communicate via correspondence and to exchange paintings, calligraphy and craftworks.
鼓励学生通信，交换书画和手工作品。
4. Visiting students from Canada will study subjects like Chinese culture, mathematics, technology, arts, history, custom, paintings and calligraphy in China.
在中国，加拿大学生主要学习中国文化、数理、科技、艺术、历史、风俗和书画等。
5. Visiting students from China will study English, art, music and P.E in Canada, and will participate in community and public welfare activities, so as to have a better understanding of Canada’s culture, history, custom and traditions.
在加拿大，中国学生主要学习英文、艺术、音乐、体育及参加社区活动和公益活动，了解加拿大的文化、历史和风俗习惯。
6. Both sides can jointly hold events such as concerts, sports meetings and other cultural, artistic or sports games according to circumstances.
双方学校视情况可以共同开展活动例如音乐会、运动会、以及各类文体比赛等。
7. The host school should ensure the visitors are given the opportunity to see the local area and areas of cultural significance. This may include such activities as visiting museums, travel for sightseeing, and social activities that reflect the local lifestyle.
接待学校应确保来访者有机会参观当地风土，了解当地文化。这可能包括如下活动：参观博物馆，安排观光，参加反映当地生活方式的社交活动等。
The two schools may seek further cooperation in future time when the links between both sides grow stronger.
双方学校未来关系发展更紧密时，再寻求其他合作方案的可能性。
