No. 1 In the Sky

In the daytime, the sky is light.

I see the birds and airplanes.

I see the white clouds floating by.

Sometimes the dark clouds bring snow.

Sometimes they bring rain.

Sometimes after the rain stops,

I see a rainbow across the sky.

At night, the sky is dark.

I see the starts twinkling above.

I see the bright moon looking down at me.

There are many things in the sky.

I love the sky, day and night.

天空

白天，天空是明亮的。我看见鸟和飞机。

我看见圆圆的太阳在空中闪耀。我看见白色的云飘过。

有时，乌云带来了雪。有时，乌云带来了雨。

有时，雨停之后，我看见一道彩虹挂在空中。

夜晚，天空是黑暗的。

我看见星星在天上一闪一闪。

我看见皎洁的月亮正俯瞰着我。

天空中有许多东西。

我爱天空，无论白天还是黑夜。       

No. 2   Summertime

Summer’s coming,

Bees humming,

Flowers growing,

Rivers flowing,

Sun stronger,

Days longer,

Crickets playing,

Corn swaying,

Raindrops falling,

Songbirds calling,

Summer’s here.

夏天

夏天到了，蜜蜂嗡嗡，

花儿盛开，河流淙淙，

阳光更强，白天更长了，

蟋蟀在玩，玉米在摇，

雨点落下来了，

鸣禽叫了，

夏天到了。

No.3 The kitchen

My favorite room is the kitchen. There is a table and some chairs in my kitchen. Next to the window is a shelf. On the shelf there are some flowers. My friends and I like to sit in the kitchen, every day, my mother cooks a lot of delicious food. I like the kitchen because it smells good. Hey, it’s dinner time. My favorite food is waiting for me in the kitchen.

厨房

我最喜欢的房间是厨房。我的厨房里有一张桌子和几把椅子。靠近窗户边上有一个格架。格架上摆着一些花。朋友和我喜欢围坐在厨房里。每天，我妈妈都会少好多美味的食物。我喜欢厨房是因为那里香气诱人。嘿！晚餐时间到了！我最喜欢的美食正在厨房里等着我呢！

No 4. Thanksgiving

The fourth Thursday in November is thanksgiving.

On this day, all the members of the family come together and have a big dinner. People usually eat turkey, sweet potatoes and other vegetables. For dessert, there is often pumpkin pie.

There are also big parades in the streets. Everybody has fun!

感恩节

11月的第4个星期四是感恩节。

这一天，所有家庭成员聚在一起吃一顿丰盛的大餐。

人们通常吃火鸡、土豆和其他蔬菜。至于甜点，通常有南瓜派。

街上还有大型的游行活动。每个人都很开心！
