杭州市竞舟小学于1999年建成开学，是杭州市求是教育集团连锁化办学过程中开办的第一所学校。学校原名为“竞舟路小学”、“杭州市求是小学竞舟路校区”、“杭州市求是教育集团求是（竞舟）小学”。2013年因集团化办学机制调整，学校成为新母体学校，更名为杭州市竞舟小学。2013年7月学校与周浦小学结为紧密型教育共同体。2019年8月新校区竞舟二小建成开学。   

近年来，学校秉承“实事求是，力争上游”的精神，培育“阳光、博雅、智慧”的竞舟学子，学校荣获全国德育实验学校、国家级绿色学校、全国环境友好型试点学校、全国校园足球和篮球特色学校、浙江省健康促进学校金奖等荣誉称号，实现了优质教育的均衡化、最大化、平民化。

    Inaugurated in 1999, Hangzhou Jingzhou Primary School is the first chain school of Hangzhou Qiushi Education Group. The school was formerly known as “Jingzhou Road Primary School”, “Jingzhou Road Campus of Hangzhou Qiushi Primary School”, “Qiushi (Jingzhou) Primary School of Hangzhou Qiushi Education Group”. In 2013, the school was renamed “Hangzhou Jingzhou Primary School” to lead a few educational organizations on the restructuring of the Group. In July, 2013, it established a close education community with Hangzhou Zhoupu Primary School. In Augusts, 2019, Jingzhou No. 2 Primary School was launched to become another campus of the school.  

     At Jingzhou Primary, we believe in “seeking truth from facts, striving for the best” and work hard to cultivate students who pursue positive thinking, wide general knowledge, high taste and wisdom. Over the recent years, we have taken home a number of honors, including National Experimental School of Moral Education, National Pilot Environmental-Friendly School, National Green School, National Specialist School for Football and Basketball, Zhejiang Health Promotion School Gold Award. Fortunately, we have made high-quality education more accessible and affordable for all.
